About Me

Photographer, videomaker, prompt designer... But also videogames and literature enthusiast.

I love art in all forms.

I’m a dreamer and a creative.

My name is Dario Pumi, I was born in Italy in 1991 and since primary school I knew that I wanted to work in the field of visual arts.

In 2010 I moved to Rome to follow my dream and work in the cinematic world. I studied at the Academy of Cinema and Television at Cinecittà Studios, where I graduated as filmmaker in 2012.

In 2011 my first short film Absolu Nu entered in the official selection at “Nastri d’Argento”, where the prize was the shooting of a spot for Lancôme.

In 2014 I entered in the official selection at “David di Donatello” with my short film The Red Wire.

In the same year, my web series Zero – The Series was nominated at “Rome Web Awards” for best antagonist and best visual effects.

After that, I also discovered a new passion: photography.

So I started studying everything about shooting and photo editing. Since then I began my path as a photographer, made by shootings at people and exhibitions as a freelance.

To complete my knowledge of the multimedia field I attended in 2020 the Master in computer graphics and 3D modeling of Animatika School of Visual Effects, at Cinecittà Studios.

I then moved to Milan to work for Sky Italy as a broadcast operator, and in the meanwhile I started to develop an interest for Artificial Intelligence.

When my contract with Sky came to an end, I began a Digital Marketing course as long as a Creative Prompt Designer course.

I think that in the future the AI field will keep growing and I definitely want to be a part of it!
